Total Maintenance Solution is preparing for another busy winter season, and we are currently seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team for the

2025-2026 Winter Program.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable with variable hours, and is capable of responding quickly to changing weather conditions. Our company services commercial properties, which means the role is fast-paced, time-sensitive, and essential to keeping businesses safe and accessible through the winter months.

Available Roles:

Equipment Operators - Snow Removal

(Tractor, Skid Steer, Kubota Sidewalk Tractor)

We are looking for operators who are confident, responsible, and attentive to detail. Experience is an asset, but individuals with strong work ethic and willingness to learn will also be considered.

About the Position:

This is a

seasonal, on-call role

expected to run approximately from

Due to the unpredictable nature of winter weather, candidates must be available

24/7 during snow and ice events

, including evenings, late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Snowfall doesn't follow a schedule, so reliability, punctuality, and readiness are crucial. The majority of work will occur during overnight hours into early morning, ensuring commercial properties are cleared and safe before regular business operations begin. Shifts may vary in length depending on the severity of the weather, and operators should be prepared for both short notice call-ins and extended working hours.

Compensation:

Hourly Rate:

$20.00-$30.00 per hour

What We're Looking For:

Must be able to work outdoors in

all winter weather conditions

Comfortable operating equipment safely and efficiently Physically able to handle long and varying shifts

Driver's Licence preferred

Strong communication and reliability, showing up when called is key Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and stay alert during night shifts

Primary Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to winter weather call-outs Operate snow equipment to clear commercial lots, walkways and high-traffic areas Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment checks to ensure safe operation Maintain attention to detail to ensure properties remain safe and accessible
