Position Overview:

We are looking for reliable and professional

On-Call Security Officers for Vancouver

. The ideal candidate must have

open availability

, the ability to work flexible schedules, and readiness to accept shifts on short notice.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned locations to ensure the safety and security of premises. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies. Conduct regular checks on buildings, gates, and equipment. Monitor surveillance equipment, alarms, and security systems. Enforce access control procedures, including ID checks and authorizing entry. Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, activities, and potential risks. Assist with crowd control and handle disturbances with professionalism. Maintain communication with supervisors and team members as required. Follow all company safety protocols, policies, and procedures. Assist with security breach investigations and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary. Provide a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity and ensure safety.

Qualifications:

Valid BC Security Guard License. Open availability and willingness to take on shifts as needed. Previous security or law enforcement experience is an asset. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in stressful situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physically able to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.
