We are currently seeking flexible and enthusiastic

On-Call/Casual Early Childhood Educators

to support our

Infant/Toddler

,

3-5 years

, and

School Age Programs

on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide responsive, high-quality care across various age groups. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Work collaboratively with our team of educators and support staff. Follow Golden Bear Children's Centre's policies and licensing standards. Support children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development.

Qualifications:

Responsible Adult

or

ECE Assistant (ECE-A)

certification Current

CPR/First Aid Certificate

(Child & Infant)

Clear Criminal Record Check

Recent

Doctor's note

TB test

, and

Immunization records

Minimum of

2 professional references

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Wage:

$17.85-$20.00 (depending on qualifications and experience)

Additional Pay:

Overtime pay where applicable

Schedule:

On-call basis Day shifts, Monday to Friday (between 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM) Shifts are offered based on Centre needs and your availability

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 0.5 - 40.5 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Rossland, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
