Job Description

The On-Call Daycare Educator provides support to the childcare team by stepping in as needed to maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy flexible work and are passionate about early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in accordance with Alberta Child Care Licensing regulations and the center's policies. Support the daily routines and programs planned by the classroom educators. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming classroom environment. Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Assist with meal and snack times, diapering, toileting, and outdoor play. Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures. Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers. Communicate effectively with the permanent educators and supervisors regarding children's needs and routines. Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when assigned to different classrooms or age groups
Job Type: Casual

Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
