MAXX North America Services Ltd., a leading provider of energy transportation services across Western Canada, is looking to hire an Project Manager to work in our Pipeline Integrity division.


This is an in-person, office-based position at Maxx North America Services Ltd. head office in Edmonton, AB. Reporting to the Pipeline Integrity Division Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for effectively manage all resources (people, financial & equipment) in order to ensure maximum efficiency in planning, forecasting, and allocation of projects. The successful candidate will become a key contributor to the ongoing growth of the organization.


The role is based at Maxx Head Office in Edmonton, Alberta with travel to Maxx's project sites across Canada.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, estimates and preparation of proposals. Define project scopes, objectives, risks, assumptions, staffing levels, roles and responsibilities, milestones, and deliverables. Act as primary liaison with site supervisors and subcontractors. Understand complete site access requirements (PPE, Safety Training, D&A testing, etc.). Conduct cost/benefit analysis and margin estimations to determine project success parameters. Manage client/contractor site meetings, RFI's, change orders, invoices and document control processes. Identify, communicate, monitor and maintain project HSE expectations and deliverables. Effectively manage all resources (people, financial & equipment) in order to ensure maximum efficiency in planning, forecasting, and allocation.

Qualifications:


5 - 10 years of experience in a project management role
Professional Engineer, PMP designation, and PEng License

Knowledge and experience with pipeline integrity related work including but not limited to:Integrity digs Pipeline Construction Pipeline repairs Reclamation Cathodic Protection Welding Pipeline coatings Estimating Cost control Quality control

Experience in reading and interpreting contract requirements
Advanced Excel skills, including project management tools and X Lookup
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude is a MUST
