We are presently looking for an experienced Engine Room Rating (oiler) to work on one of our ships which sails from Montreal, Qc to St. John's, NL.
Reporting to the Second Engineer, the Engine Room Rating assists Marine Engineers in operating, maintaining and repairing engines, machines and various equipment. In addition to ensuring a clean, safe work environment, he checks monitoring instruments linked to the ship's mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.Minimum Certification required:
Engine Room Rating (an asset) Engine room training program (or equivalent) MED STCW Safety Proficiency, Ship Personnel with Designated Security Duties Marine Medical Certificate
Skills:
Good ability to work alone and with a team French and English
Working conditions:
