Oil & Gas Marketing Analyst - Financial Services - (2310553)


The Opportunity: The Marketing Analyst, Financial Services, contributes to the preparation of commodity pricing forecasts, corporate netbacks, counter-party credit analytics, internal reporting on industry performance, and hedging summaries, for both oil and natural gas. Key Accountabilities:

• The acquisition, analysis, and reporting of data related to credit party financials, credit instruments, third party commodity price forecasts, industry/competitor benchmarking, market fundamentals
• The development and maintenance of tools to import and manage third party/external data related to pricing and netbacks and the optimization of sales
• Ongoing coordination and communication between various CNRL internal departments (accounting, treasury) as necessary to support corporate reporting, and the writing/editing sections of these reports

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a related role within the oil and gas industry
• Completion of an engineering or business degree with an understanding of oil/gas markets
• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications is required
• Strong communication, organizational and team skills complemented with a strong work ethic
