Oil & Gas Field Technology Supervisor

Location: Calgary, AB (Travel to field sites as required)

Job Responsibilities

Take overall responsibility for the authenticity, accuracy, and timeliness of field data collected on site, including geology, gas measurement, and engineering data; establish and supervise data quality control processes. Manage integrated well logging and related field equipment, including installation acceptance, operational status monitoring, major fault diagnosis, routine maintenance, and spare parts planning (including chemical reagents where applicable). Review key technical materials such as daily well logging reports and master log charts to ensure standardized records, reasonable interpretations, and data consistency. Provide on-site training, technical assistance, and guidance to field logging team members; organize technical training sessions and experience-sharing activities to improve overall team capability. Accurately understand changes in client technical requirements, adjust work priorities accordingly, and communicate field technical needs to the company's technical department in a timely manner.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or above in petroleum engineering, geology, electromechanical engineering, or related disciplines. Good working proficiency in English. Relevant industry certifications such as IADC, H2S, or equivalent are considered an asset. Minimum 5 years of relevant field experience. Strong knowledge of petroleum geology and comprehensive well logging operations. Ability to inspect, troubleshoot, and coordinate maintenance for well logging equipment and related technical issues. Strong sense of responsibility, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently in field environments.
