As an
Offsite Warehouse
,
you will perform essential operations to ensure efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment at our offsite warehouse facility.
What to be excited for in this role:
Scan and process incoming shipments, transfers, and distributions using warehouse management systems.
Verify shipment accuracy, document received products, and maintain shipping logs.
Monitor unreceived items and initiate claims as necessary.
Ensure accurate order fulfillment and packaging of products.
Sort and distribute shipments to appropriate locations.
Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with physical inventory counts.
Process inter-store transfers and communicate stock needs.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout warehouse areas.
Adhere to safety protocols when handling equipment and materials.
Complete required documentation, filing, and reporting activities.
Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations.
Perform other duties as required that align with the responsibilities of the role and the needs of the organization.
What we need from you:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, particularly in shipping and receiving.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and MRP software.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic math abilities for inventory tracking.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Ability to safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
Capability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
Reliable, punctual, and regular in attendance.
Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
