REPORTS TO: Offshore Installation Manager
DEPARTMENT: Marine
LOCATION: Offshore Newfoundland
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for administering cabin allocations, POB and lifeboat allocations, general clerical and administrative work as required by Rig Management.
PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good knowledge of computer programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) VHF / UHF
• Previous offshore administration experience
• 1+ years relative experience
• Offshore Certification considered an asset: Basic Survival Training, Regulatory Awareness, H2S Alive, WHMIS 2015, Standard First Aid, Canadian Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC) Briefing & Protocol, Seafarers Discharge Book, STCW Proficiency in Designated Security Duties/Awareness, GMDSS, GOC, IATA Dangerous Goods by Air Awareness
• Fluent in English, Including Reading and Writing
• Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain Radio watch and monitor traffic on all communication systems. Advise Master/OIM or deputy of any emergency situation in vicinity of installation.
• During emergencies, man the Emergency Control Centre (ECC) and maintain communications following Master/OIM instructions.
• Maintain the Installation POB documentation & update the Muster lists, Helicopter passenger lists & evacuation lists as required by the Master/OIM.
• Liaise with the camp boss on the correct cabin allocation as per the POB updates.
• Advise the Master/OIM, Barge master & HLO on the helicopter scheduling.
• General clerical and administrative work as required by Rig Management.
• Control of incoming and outgoing mail.
• Have a good working knowledge of the telephone switchboard and computers.
• Maintain a log of hours worked by all personnel onboard as required by the Master/ OIM.
• Any other duties as required by the Master/OIM.
