Westcan Recyclers is looking for a reliable and organized
Office & Used Auto Parts Assistant
to support our office operations and used auto parts department.
This role involves answering phone calls, helping customers, handling office paperwork, and assisting with parts sales and data entry in a busy industrial environment.
Main Responsibilities
Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries about used auto parts.
Provide quotes, process payments, and follow up with customers.
Greet walk-in customers and coordinate with the yard team for parts pickup or shipping.
Perform general office duties -- filing, data entry, and document organization.
Maintain customer and parts records accurately in the system.
Support the equipment maintenance and admin team with work orders and reports.
Ensure smooth communication between departments and assist where needed.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry).
Organized, reliable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
Previous experience in an office, auto parts, or industrial setting is an asset.
Work Environment
Office located within an active metal recycling yard.
Must be comfortable working around equipment and vehicles.
Safety-focused, team-oriented workplace.
