Job Summary:



Managing a product distribution company.

Responsibilities for first 6 months:



Oversee and perform daily office operations (order & payment processing, inventory, deliveries..) to ensure smooth functioning of all administrative processes. Oversee and perform Customer Service/Inside Sales functions to maintain strong client relations. Maintain clerical functions including task lists, record keeping, managing information and office organization.

Hours & Timeline Expectations:



Stage 1: 5-6 weeks, Part Time, Mon-Fri, 10-3. A combination of on the job training, and being instrumental in performing the core daily office operations, while ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. By the end of phase 1, you should feel confident managing the general day to day operations on your own. Stage 2 is a 4 week period of demonstrating that followed by a performance evaluation. Provided everything is moving in the right direction, Stage 3 will expand the training, the responsibilities, the hours and the pay. The timelines and specific goals will depend on the selected candidate, and outlined in an offer of employment.

Requirements for long term success:



To excel in this job, you need to have had experience in different roles within a large distribution company, or have been involved in core functions in a smaller distribution company. Alternatively, its possible that someone who has studied this and is really business savy, could be a candidate.

Experience managing orders, providing customer service, understanding inventory, supply chain and the distribution cycle. Strong communication skills with experience and understanding of how the conversation differs between different types of customers and vendors and B2B, vs B2C. Also knowing how to ask the right questions in order to identify and gather information effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Self Motivated with Confidence and Logical thinking skills. Familiarity with vendor management practices is a plus.

Pay: $45,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
