A primary care physician is seeking a motivated nurse to work as part of their primary care multi-disciplinary team that includes a Physician Assistant. The nurse will provide primary care functions and assist the physician and Physician Assistant in the care, treatment, and education of their patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

triaging and patient assessments immunizations and other injections BP monitoring assisting with office procedures booking tests and explaining same to the patient patient education as well as health prevention and promotion clarifying physician instructions to the patient

Qualifications and Requirements:

RN or RPN designation Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Demonstrates competence within the full scope of practice Knowledge of College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) Standards of Practice Experience with electronic medical records Experience working in a family practice, community or primary health care center would be considered an asset
Ideal candidate would be available Monday - Friday; however, hours can be somewhat flexible and part-time may be considered (no less than 3 days per week).

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
