Description of Duties:

\xe2\x97\x8f Perform full cycle accounting duties: Accounts payable, accounts receivable: collections, journal entries, deposits, bank & credit card reconciliations, Source deduction payments, GST filing & Payment.

\xe2\x97\x8f General to advanced knowledge of accounting policies and procedures; maintain accounting data base, reading and usage of reports.

\xe2\x97\x8f Process Bi-weekly payroll ( 35 employees): Entering employee information and payroll data into the system. Calculating payable hours, commissions, bonuses, taxes, and deductions. Setup of new employees. ROES, T4\xe2\x80\x99s.

\xe2\x97\x8f Key holder responsibilities for office and bank.

\xe2\x97\x8f Maintain digital filing records in Google drive and Quickbooks online.

\xe2\x97\x8f Point person for maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands

\xe2\x97\x8f Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary

\xe2\x97\x8f Organize office operations and procedures

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for planning and execution of company events

\xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment

\xe2\x97\x8f Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for creating PowerPoint slides and making presentations

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved, and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for providing orientation and training to new employees

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for ensuring office financial objectives are met by preparing annual budget for the office, planning the expenditures, analyzing variances, and carrying out necessary corrections that may arise

\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure filing systems are maintained and current

\xe2\x97\x8f Handle customer inquiries and complaints

\xe2\x97\x8f Display knowledge of CSAM COR and assist in annual core Audit.

\xe2\x97\x8f Oversee & process WCB claims, review & Process business taxes, business insurance & COI requests.

Skills & Requirements:

\xe2\x97\x8f Attention to detail and problem solving skills

\xe2\x97\x8f Proven office management, administrative, or assistant experience

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and verbal communication skills

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong organizational and planning skills

\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive: Sheets & Docs

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures

\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of business and management principles

\xe2\x97\x8f Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages

Proficiency in the following computer systems is preferred:

\xe2\x97\x8f Quickbooks Online- including payroll processing ( Must)

\xe2\x97\x8f Google Drive: Including Sheets, Docs, and drive organization ( Must)

\xe2\x97\x8f Quickbooks time

\xe2\x97\x8f Smart Service

\xe2\x97\x8f Trainual

\xe2\x97\x8f Dext

\xe2\x97\x8f Jobber

\xe2\x97\x8f Computer savvy and able to learn new programs fast & efficiently

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 Annual Salary + In House Health Benefits after 3 Months
