After many great years with us, our Office Manager is retiring on March 31, 2026. We are now searching for the right person to step into this important position and continue running our accounting, payroll, HR, safety, and day-to-day administration with the same care and accuracy our team has come to rely on.
This role reports directly to the General Manager and offers real variety, ownership, and the chance to be the person who keeps everything organized and on track.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Payroll (major component of the role)
Full ownership of semi-monthly payroll (multiple payroll streams)
Monthly bank, Visa, and general ledger reconciliations
All government remittances (GST, PST, source deductions, corporate taxes, etc.)
Weekly cheque runs, digital deposits, royalty invoicing
Month-end and year-end journal entries and balancing
T4/T4A preparation and filing
RRSP & pension contribution tracking and monthly submissions
Human Resources & Benefits
Full-cycle onboarding and offboarding
Administer group benefits and RRSP/pension plans including annual renewals
Maintain HR policies, employee files, and legislative compliance
Coordinate employee events and recognition programs
Health & Safety Coordination
Maintain and update safety manuals
Schedule OHS walkabouts, record minutes, and follow up on action items
Schedule hearing tests (company-wide every two years) and First Aid training
Track and post safety statistics; organize safety awards
General Administration
Maintain company social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) with GM approval
Keep ISNetworld compliance current (quarterly reporting)
Coordinate trade shows and promotional materials
Oversee janitorial contracts and office supplies
Assist with immigration/SINP paperwork when required
What We're Looking For
5+ years in senior office management or administration with significant accounting and payroll responsibility
Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or human resources (or equivalent experience)
Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation is an asset - we will support certification if needed
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting/payroll software
Strong working knowledge of Saskatchewan employment, tax, and OHS regulations
Exceptional organizational skills and a calm, accurate approach to multiple deadlines
