The Polykon Manufacturing site, opened in 2020, is located near Richmond, Virginia, USA. The plant specializes in producing ingredients for cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. It has enhanced our proximity to our North American customers and increased our manufacturing capabilities worldwide.
Its overall concept was designed to incorporate the highest levels of manufacturing quality for cosmetic and pharmaceutical ingredients. All of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are integrated at the product flow level as well as at the individual flow level. The units, all outfitted with a self-cleaning system, are fully automated for consistent and easily traceable quality.
The plant has been designed with a minimal-waste or emission objective. The best available techniques were used to reduce waste and emissions to a strict minimum at their origin. The principles of recycling have been systematically adopted and final discharge treatment systems have been installed at the vent and waste-water levels to ensure there is minimal impact on the environment.
The facility has obtained ISO 9001:2015, EFfCI and RSPO certification
Admin Duties
Maintains integrity, confidentiality, accurate files, records, and tracking of documentation.
Supports and assists with federal and state compliance reports, projects, audits, communications and employee engagement.
Provides administrative support for all departments as needed.
Manage employee attendance program.
Serve on Quality audit team.
Create PR\xe2\x80\x99s for purchases related to employee engagement.
Distribute mail.
Coordinate employee business meetings, town hall events.
Work with vendors for quarterly events, meal planning, holiday activities, special celebrations and other events.

Employee Engagement
Birthday, anniversary, sympathy recognition
Plan in-house or off-site activities, such as parties, celebrations and conferences
Manage employee recognition activities
Manage media communications & announcements on monitors
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
Are you a MATCH?
Previous experience as an Office Manager, Front Office Manager or Administrative Assistant
Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
Time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
