Job Description

Ingram Varner and Associates is a Real Estate Appraisal Firm that has been in business for over 40 years. Our team has extensive experience and completes valuations/advisory services on all types of real estate. We are a small office setting seeking a highly motivated Office Manager to fill a maternity leave position. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, thrives both independently and collaboratively and has exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple priorities with efficiency and professionalism.

Experience in the real estate, financial or legal sectors considered an asset.

Responsibilities and Duties

Answer and direct phone calls Format and proof read appraisal reports Data base entry New file set-up Drafting quotes & invoicing Accounts payable/receivable Payroll Inventory and procurement Organize and schedule appointments Maintain and organize file systems and storage General office duties as required
Experience/Qualifications

Office or clerical experience Ability to multitask Ability to proofread narrative documents for both written and numerical accuracy Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) Experience with filing and managing records Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette Basic accounting and payroll knowledge considered an asset (Sage 50) Experience in the real estate, financial or legal sectors considered an asset
Benefits

Competitive salary ($50,000 - $60,000/annum) Daytime Monday-Friday, no weekends Some shift flexibility (8am-4pm, 8:30am-4:30pm or 9am-5pm) Optional dental, vision, and extended health care benefits

Work Term: 18-month contract

Hours: 40 hours/week, daytime, M-F
