Job Overview



Barrie Autism Centre

is looking for an

Office Manager

who is responsible for supporting the daily operations of our Centre by coordinating schedules, managing administrative processes, assisting clinical leadership, and ensuring effective communication between staff, families, and external partners. This role is essential to maintaining smooth workflows and supporting high-quality service delivery across our ABA, Speech, and Academy programs.

Key Responsibilities:



Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and organization Manage intake documentation, client records, and confidential files in compliance with privacy regulations Use Jane App program to run the centre efficiently Maintain office systems, supplies, and equipment Support billing, invoicing, and payment tracking as required Assist with policy implementation and administrative procedures
Scheduling & Coordination

Create daily staff and client schedules for ABA, Speech Therapy, and Academy programs Manage calendar changes, cancellations, and coverage needs Liaise with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate staffing and service delivery Support onboarding and scheduling for new clients and staff Meet and Tour the centre with potential clients
Communication & Family Support

Serve as a primary point of contact for families, responding to inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner Ensure clear and timely communication between families, clinicians, and staff Support families with intake processes, documentation, and general program information
Support to Clinical Leadership

Support Aba + Speech and Tutoring Prepare reports, documentation, and schedules as needed Support coordination of meetings, trainings, and internal communications
Compliance & Professional Standards

Ensure adherence to privacy, confidentiality, and organizational policies Support quality assurance processes and accreditation requirements Maintain professionalism and discretion at all times
Qualifications & Skills

Minimum of 2-3 years of office management or administrative experience with autism services preferred Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in office software and scheduling systems Knowledge of ABA, Speech Therapy, or autism services is considered an asset

Compassionate, professional, and family-focused Highly organized and detail-oriented, and capable of overseeing staff of 10-15 and clients over 60 Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Able to run the company Instagram account
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
