They are seeking an experienced

Office & Logistics Manager

to oversee daily administrative operations and lead a dedicated team in optimizing scheduling, communication, and overall logistics performance.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is responsible for ensuring efficient load coordination, accurate billing and compliance documentation, and effective tracking of key performance indicators. The successful candidate will streamline processes across departments, identify opportunities for greater efficiency, support staff recruitment and training, and foster a professional, organized, and collaborative team environment that drives continued growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and supervise a team of five staff members across logistics coordination and administrative functions. Ensure efficient load scheduling, driver communication, and on-time performance. Maintain accurate billing, trip reports, payroll inputs, and compliance documentation. Monitor key performance indicators for logistics efficiency, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction, and analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Streamline processes between drivers, dispatch, office staff, and management to improve overall operational effectiveness. Identify and implement operational improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors. Support the recruiting, onboarding, and training of new drivers and office staff. Prepare weekly and monthly operational summaries for leadership review. Oversee compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations. Coordinate with leadership and other departments to support strategic initiatives. Foster a professional, organized, and collaborative team environment that aligns with the company's values and service standards. Perform other duties as assigned to support the operational and administrative success of the organization.

Required Skills and Experience



5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or operations management; Experience in livestock or agricultural transport is considered an asset; Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field is an asset; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics/dispatch software; Working knowledge of dispatch systems, scheduling, and basic accounting principles; Proficiency in QuickBooks Online accounting software considered an asset; Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience supervising managers; Strong presentation, reporting, verbal, and written communication skills; Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities; A growth mindset and ability to approach challenges from multiple perspectives; Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent responsibilities; Valid driver's license required.
