Custom Energized Air is growing! We have a need for an Office & Health, Safety, and Quality (HS&Q) Administrator for the Edmonton Office.
TheOffice & Health, Safety and Quality (HS&Q) Administrator is a dual-role position that is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day administrative operations for the company while also overseeing and promoting HSE&Q compliance across the organization.
The job description and key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General Administration:
Answering main phone line and triaging calls accordingly.
Provide administrative support to various departments across CEA.
Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors and service providers
Coordinate meetings with minutes, appointments, and travel arrangements.
Maintain accurate records and filing systems (digital and physical).
Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for employees.
Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.
Health and Safety Administrator
Promote a culture of safety and well-being.
Monitor and maintain the accuracy of health and safety policies and procedures.
Track and monitor compliance with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations.
Plan and schedule health and safety training, in-house and outsourced.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, and prepare reports with recommendations.
Maintain records of incidents, near-misses, safety audits, employee training and certificates.
Maintain and update documentation as required by third-party companies such as ISNetworld, Avetta Fieldglass, etc.
Maintain safety-related manuals, including managing updates and coordinating distribution.
Quality
Maintain accurate records within filing systems.
Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
Compile data and prepare reports as required.
Provide administrative support to the quality management system.
Experience and Education Requirements
High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role which includes health and safety administration duties.
A combination of relevant education, technical knowledge, and professional experience will be considered for candidates who demonstrate strong potential and alignment with the role's requirements.
