Office Clerk — Data Entry & In Store Sales

Overview



Mr. Billiard, a Toronto-based retailer and supplier of premium pool tables and billiard accessories since 1958, is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our small, busy team. This is a hands-on role combining accurate data entry, Microsoft Office work, and friendly in-store customer service and sales. Previous experience in retail sales or office administration is an asset.

Responsibilities



Accurately enter and maintain sales orders, customer records, and inventory data in our systems. Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) daily--prepare spreadsheets, reports, and work orders. Greet customers, answer product questions, and assist with in-store sales/upselling. Process POS transactions, returns, and exchanges; reconcile daily sales. Answer phone and email inquiries promptly and professionally. Assist with order preparation, basic shipping paperwork, and coordination with installers/shipping team. Support general office administration tasks (filing, photocopying, scheduling, light bookkeeping support). Maintain an organized and tidy store/office environment. Able to travel nationally and across the border to attend expos and trade shows.

Skills & Qualifications



Proficient in English -- excellent verbal and written communication. Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel comfort with data entry; formulas a plus). High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Proficient in Quickbooks system is a plus Customer-focused with a friendly, professional manner. Previous experience in retail sales, or office administration preferred Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision. Proficiency in a second language is an asset.

Compensation & Hours



Competitive base salary (commensurate with experience) plus commission on in-store sales. Full-time hours; typical schedule Monday-Friday with occasional weekend shifts as needed. Employee discounts on products and opportunities for training and growth.
