Job Overview

Part time cleaner required for Sunday 2hrs , Monday & Thursday evenings 4 hrs each shift after 5 pm. Must be able to complete the office clean in the time alloted with Attention to detail in all cleaning aspects such as kitchen, washrooms, dusting , vacuuming and mopping. Able to multi task , as well as work independently. Must have own transportation and a criminal record check will be required. Training provided.

- Perform general cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the office
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash cans and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Clean glass surfaces and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals properly

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of office areas, restrooms, and common spaces. Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene. Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap as needed. Dispose of trash and recycling materials appropriately. Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively to ensure proper sanitation. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

Prior experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail. Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
