Position Summary

Lock 8 Equipment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Office Assistant

to support our day-to-day administrative and customer service functions. This role involves managing phone and email communications, assisting customers with inquiries and orders, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining organized records and documentation.



The ideal candidate is proactive, professional, and efficient, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong computer proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities


====================



Administrative & Customer Support:





Answer incoming

phone calls

and route inquiries appropriately. Respond to general

emails

or forward to the correct department. Provide friendly and

professional communication

to vendors, customers, and team members.



Purchase Order Management:





Monitor and track

incoming purchase orders.

Review and accept

purchase orders in the ERP system upon verification. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure purchase

order accuracy and delivery tracking.

Ensure all individuals SKUs have a

delivery date

for any that would be considered a back order. Follow Up on

back ordered i

tems. Answer

team members inquiries

on Purchase Orders.



Logistics & Shipping Coordination:





Monitor and track

incoming purchase orders. Use the company's shipping account to

coordinate and book shipments

and provide support in resolving shipping-related issues.

Compare courier rates

and delivery options to ensure cost-effective and timely shipping. Work with vendors and customers to

coordinate inbound and outbound freight

as needed. Book all Lock 8 Purchases and Customer

shipments

as required.




Additional Duties:





Collaborate with the team to

support administrative operations.

Perform other

general administrative duties

as needed.


Qualifications:


===================



High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in order processing, or administrative support is preferred but not required. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team.


Physical Demands:

Primarily an office-based position with extended periods of sitting and computer use. Occasional standing, walking, or light bending when assisting with office or order-related tasks. * May involve lifting light items (up to 25 lbs.) occasionally.
