Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting store operations, driving sales, and leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service. Duties



Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including merchandising, inventory management, and sales strategies. Lead and motivate staff to achieve sales goals while maintaining high standards of customer service. Manage payroll, scheduling, and staffing needs, including recruiting and training new team members. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience. Oversee POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance. Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities aligned with marketing plans. Supervise store cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols. Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support staff development initiatives. Collaborate with purchasing teams to manage stock levels and product placement for optimal sales. Utilize organizational skills to manage administrative tasks efficiently and effectively.

Experience



Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management. Strong background in merchandising, sales management, and customer service. Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and bookkeeping processes. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train and develop team members. Excellent communication skills, including negotiation, phone etiquette, and interpersonal interactions. Multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Skills in marketing, pricing strategies, budgeting, and administrative tasks are desirable. Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks efficiently. This role requires a proactive leader with excellent organizational skills who is committed to delivering outstanding retail experiences while supporting store growth through effective team management and operational excellence.

Pay: $165,508.62-$203,863.31 per year
