Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.

Position Overview

Reporting and accountable to the Supervisor, Compass Residential Youth Program, responsibilities include secretarial, reception, word processing and clerical related duties for functions relating to the program.

Experience

• Two-three years previous secretarial experience required.
• A suitable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Completion of a recognized secretarial course.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in Windows-based operating systems and software related to word processing (Word, Excel, Outlook Express, Internet Explorer, Power Point, Publisher), accounting, and database management.
• Ability to troubleshoot computer software/hardware.
• Demonstrated ability to deal effectively with staff, clients and the general public.
• Demonstrated effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Highly-motivated individual who can work independently in an efficient and timely manner.
• Knowledge of addictions an asset.
