Denver Property Restoration is looking to hire a new member to our team. We are a 24-hour emergency response company, with our focus on the restoration of fire, flood, wind damage, sewer backups and site remediation properties within Winnipeg and remote communities. We pride ourselves on helping to restore a home or business to its pre-loss condition and strive to maintain a reputation for excellent work and customer service.
As the Office and Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for being the first line of communication to our clients, be capable of switching gears quickly in a fast-paced environment and be an extremely organized multi-tasker. A list of requirements is noted below.
Responsibilities:
Receptionist:
Answering phones, routing calls as appropriate.
Receives and process incoming and outgoing courier mails and/packages including opening, stamping, sorting, and distribution.
Attends to visitors, offer refreshments and inform the appropriate staff of their arrival.
Manage "Work Alone Report Log" on daily basis
Office Administrator:
Orders office supplies, maintain office inventory
Retrieval and printing of accounts payable invoices (mail / electronic), distribution for signature approval.
Manage visitor log.
Manages office documents: phone list, etc.
Filing.
Mailings, courier.
Book appointments as required.
Update Subcontractor files as necessary
Close Jobs not sold in DASH
Close Purchase orders in DASH as invoices or receipts are received
Additional duties as required.
Accounting:
Accounts Payable Data Entry
Mail the cheques and file the invoices
Obtain credit card receipts from card holders
Reconcile credit card statements
Requirements:
The role requires at least 2 years of experience within a similar role.
Experience in accounts payable preferred.
Must utilize effective time management skills and can work effectively and productively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer skills - MS Office, Outlook, Quickbooks, DASH, Encircle, Xactimate, Xactanalysis.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
Accuracy, confidence, and professionalism are required.
Must have a valid Manitoba drivers' license.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday 7:30 to 4:00.
