At Kanata Foot and Orthotics Clinic, the patients always come first. You will be the primary point of contact, greeting our patients and setting the tone for our clinic. We are looking for someone who is friendly, respectful and has great organizational skills. You must work well in a team, but also show some autonomy and problem-solving abilities.
Job Summary:
Your role would consist of:
Greeting the patients in a pleaseant manner
Answering phone and email inquiries promptly and politely
Scheduling and rescheduling patient appointments using Jane software (training will be provided)
Processing payments and dealing with patient's insurance policies
Administrative tasks such as file maintenance, program maintenance, contacting patients and suppliers via telephone/fax/emails
Keeping the clinic clean/presentable/up to standards
Upholding patient confidentiality and our policies and procedures
Providing patients with guidance or support as needed
Providing practitioners with assistance as needed
Required Skills:
Basic computer/fax/printer/telephone skills
Microsoft office
Assets:
Experience in customer service, administration and/or reception
Experience with insurance companies, processing payments
Experience with EMR (electrical medical records)
Experience with financial software such as Quickbook online
Diploma in office administration
CPR certification
Knowledge in the Chiropody profession/podiatric medicine
Bilingual
