to join our team in Gananoque. We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Administrator to support our sales operations at a busy container sales and rental company. This is an office-based role in Gananoque with regular interaction in industrial yard environments and with external partners (drivers, brokers, walk-in customers). The successful candidate will act as the Sales Manager's right hand and provide occasional support to the President.

Act as primary assistant to the Sales Manager; provide occasional administrative support to the President.
Create, issue and track customer invoices; maintain accurate billing records.
Communicate with customers regarding payments and account status; follow up on outstanding balances.
Cross-reference payments to invoices and update accounting/sales records.
Oversee cross-border paperwork and act as the main point of contact with customs brokers and freight partners.
Coordinate and document container inspections and tagging for specific customers.
Handle enquiries from walk-in customers and provide accurate information about products, rentals and services.
Support logistics scheduling by liaising with drivers and yard staff as needed.
Assist with light content tasks (social posts, basic photos, short updates) when required.
Report data issues, support basic IT troubleshooting or escalate to IT when necessary.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Comfortable working in both an office environment and an industrial/yard setting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills -- confident speaking with customers, drivers and brokers.
Proficient with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office (Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, Gmail/Outlook).
Experience issuing invoices and basic familiarity with accounts receivable processes.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision.
Reliable, professional, and customer focused.
Full-time, office hours with occasional time spent outdoors in yard/industrial areas.
Able to walk the yards, check container condition and be comfortable in an industrial setting.
Must be able to interact with drivers and customers in person and over the phone.
Bonus Requirements:
Familiarity with cross-border shipping paperwork and customs procedures.
Experience with CRMs or sales tracking systems and basic inventory tagging processes.
Basic IT comfort (troubleshooting, file management, connecting devices).
Some experience or interest in content creation -- basic photo editing or social post assembly
