POSITION SUMMARY

An office administrator provides administrative support in the White City office is approachable, organized, and customer service oriented. The administrator maintains an appropriate level of confidentiality in all interactions.

PROJECT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Minimum 4 month term is guaranteed
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Represent Canadian Plains in person, on the phone and through electronic communication
  • Assist with new hire orientations, sign-on packages & client orientations
  • Enter worker hours for payroll processing and review for accuracy
  • Prepare invoices for contractor and employee-owned equipment
  • Verify incoming invoices and process for payment. Develop a good working relationship with vendors
  • Issue purchase orders, track incoming invoices and ensure alignment with job & project costs
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Office administration or accounting diploma (i.e. administration, accounting, commerce) is preferred.
  • A minimum of two - three years administrative experience in the oilfield construction and services industry is preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
