What You'll Do
Accounting
? Accounts Payable data entry, review for accurate coding, and ensuring all receipts have been received
? Prepare general ledger journal entries, including accruals, monthly recurring entries, and adjustments
? Bank, credit card, and other GL account reconciliations
? Assist in period-end close and reporting
? Financial administrative tasks as required
? Perform any other related duties as necessary.
Head Of?ce
? Act as the primary liaison with property management for any of?ce-related issues.
? Maintain and oversee parking arrangements and the security system.
? Manage mailing correspondence as needed.
? Ensure the of?ce is well-stocked within budget constraints for supplies such as coffee, milk, snacks, and cleaning supplies.
? Book travel arrangements in accordance with the company's Travel policy.
? Organize of?ce morale-boosting events and other approved gatherings, including manager meetings.
? Handle utility account maintenance for all retail locations, including account transfers, setup, and auto-pay for electric, gas, water, waste, and telecom services.
? Provide regular company communications and updates about head of?ce building notices.
What we are looking for?
2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or office administration roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Professional communication and interpersonal skills
Experience coordinating office operations and vendor relations is an asset
Comfortable managing travel bookings, office supply budgets, and event planning
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
