Duties
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Create a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student performance and classroom activities.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Collaborate with other educators to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
Maintain classroom discipline while promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
Strong understanding of child development principles and effective teaching strategies.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
Experience with classroom management techniques is highly desirable.
Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.
The school is physically located in Mississauga/Brampton, the interview will need to be in-person.
Ontario Certified Teacher is required.
Knowledge of LMS(Moodle) required
