Overview:

We are seeking a Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping patients improve their quality of life through occupational therapy interventions.

Responsibilities:

- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of Occupational Therapists to help patients achieve their therapy goals.

- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance their motor skills and coordination.

- Document patient progress accurately and maintain updated patient records.

- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.

- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.

Experience:

- Preferred Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.

- Experience working with pediatric patients or in acute care settings is preferred.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
