Hello Speech is looking for experienced and enthusiastic
Occupational Therapy Assistants
(OTAs) to join our team of clinicians. This position offers on-going mentorship support, clinical coaching and reports directly to a Occupational Therapist.

Our OTAs are responsible for:
Delivering occupational therapy goals in one-to-one and/or small group formats in the areas of daily living skills, toilet training, feeding, sensory regulation and emotional regulation;
Working under the supervision of a Occupational Therapist;
Preparing materials, developing activities, implementing intervention plans, and working towards established occupational therapy goals;
Documenting sessions and tracking progress on JANE;
Communicating and collaborating with team members, parents, and other professionals;
Prepare and coach parents in the implementation of individualized home programs;
Our ideal OTA candidate is:
A graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy Program;
A graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program from outside of Canada;
Use best practice guidelines and evidence-based information in practice;
Works collaboratively with other team members and supervisors;
Clinical experience working with children with a wide range of occupational therapy difficulties;
A strong verbal and written communicator;
Excellent time management proficiency;
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
An ability to display a high level of initiative;
Willing to travel within the community and has access to appropriate transport;
An up to date Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Pay: $60.00-$75.00 per hour
