Bayshore Therapy & Rehab is looking for an Occupational Therapist to join their interdisciplinary team. Your main goal is to focus on keeping patients safe and well in their homes -wherever home might be.

This is not your everyday Occupational Therapist opportunity! Our Occupational Therapists are Independent Contractors. This means that you set up a schedule that works for you while maintaining your autonomy and independence. It's all about having a holistic approach to our Occupational Therapists work-life.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team comprised of OT's, PT's and SLP's that provide care to a diversified caseload of patients and their families in the Windsor-Essex County region.

What you'll be doing:

• As an Occupational Therapist, you will make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of OT care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. This includes but isn't limited to the assessment of patient safety and function and with their care, prescribing and ordering equipment, teaching, and training family members and care staff in transfers and use of equipment with adult patients of all ages.
• You will teach, delegate tasks and functions to different levels of workers and patients and their family members all designed to keep our patients safe, comfortable and functioning to the best of their ability.

Qualifications

Qualifications you already have:

• MA or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from a recognized University
• Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario

• Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Updated Immunization Records, Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check upon hire
