As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Thriving Kids London Pediatrics, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, and support to children with developmental, physical, or emotional challenges. Your primary goal will be to help children THRIVE and help to achieve their maximum potential in daily activities and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments of children's physical, cognitive, sensory, behavioural, learning, and emotional abilities. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and goals set by the child, family, schools, and outside healthcare team. Provide one-on-one therapy sessions with children to address motor skills, sensory processing, and other areas of concern. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy. Monitor and document progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Offer guidance and support to families on strategies for home-based therapy and activities. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment plans and progress. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and therapy techniques in pediatric occupational therapy. Maintain accurate and organized patient records and documentation as per regulatory standards. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions and activities.

Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). 1 to 2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of relevant legislation Full-time or part time Independent Contractor positions with flexible hours. Work may be performed in clinical settings, schools, or client homes. Travel and having access to a vehicle is required. Rate of pay varies based on experience and qualifications.
