Key Responsibilities



Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' functional abilities, medical history, and goals to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide direct patient care and implement treatment interventions to improve or restore patients' abilities to perform daily activities. Assess patients' progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and communicate with interdisciplinary team members. Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and strategies to promote independence. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Occupational Therapy through professional development activities.

Requirements



Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Good standing with the

College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)

. Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a clinical or rehabilitation setting. Strong knowledge of Occupational Therapy principles, practices, and techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Demonstrated empathy, patience, and compassion for patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 44 per week
