We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist for our

London Rehab Clinic

About the Program:

The London Rehab clinic is located at 400 York Street, London, ON. The hours of operation are 12:00pm to 8:00pm, open 2 days a week. It is an appointment-based clinic, where clients are referred by the HCCSS. Occupational Therapists will work 16 hours/2 days/week). The Occupational Therapists work entirely in the clinic, no traveling required.

There is an opportunity to supplement your Clinic Work with a Community Caseload, if desired.

What will be your role?

Become part of a new innovative model of client care contributing to increased access to care for the aging population. A key team member to ensure Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS) clients have access to OT services promptly. As an Occupational Therapist at VHA, you will be assessing and providing consultation, recommendations and interventions to adults and/or geriatric group of clients in our Rehab Clinic using evidence-based best practice. You will ensure coordinated delivery of care through ongoing communication with the client care team regarding plans and schedules for interventions, problem solve in collaboration with the client and care team to create opportunities for more independence and promote VHA\xe2\x80\x99s core beliefs and values. Actively support with the Program development.

Required Qualifications:
  • Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum 2 years clinical experience (optimal)
  • Compassionate and empathetic
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently
  • Skilled at electronic documentation
  • A registered ADP authorizer (asset)
