Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team at Wave Rehab. In this role, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote recovery and improve daily living skills. Your expertise will be vital in helping individuals regain independence and enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on treatment goals and techniques. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current registration with the relevant provincial regulatory body. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and case management practices. Experience in acute care settings is preferred but not required. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare teams.

Pay: $40.00-$74.85 per hour
