The key roles of the Occupational Therapist are in TREATMENT:
A Broad Spectrum of Community Treatment Interventions - OT Sessions (In-Home / Virtual)
Providing a hands-on approach, creative solutions, education, support and encouragement that help clients rebuild their lives
Provide interventions focusing on: daily functioning, cognition, mobility, education on the proper use of assistive devices
Develop patient-based treatment plans to recovery
Work with other health care providers as necessary
Document all assessment findings, treatment plans, progress, and discharge reports
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy;
Current registration, in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, as well as independently.
Excellent interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
Demonstrates strong and effective written, oral, and nonverbal communication skills
Valid G Driver's License and access to a vehicle are required
