movement, sensory regulation, and primitive reflex work
with functional life skills and family coaching.
The Role
We're seeking an
Occupational Therapist (Contract)
with demonstrated skill in
primitive reflex assessment/integration
and
movement-based intervention
to collaborate across disciplines and contribute to individualized, whole-child treatment plans.
What Your Day Looks Like
Provide
assessment, treatment, consultation, and service planning
for individuals with ASD in the community, at clients' homes, and on-site.
Conduct standardized and non-standardized
OT assessments
; collaborate with families and the service team to build a comprehensive plan aligned to OT domains.
Integrate
primitive reflex screening/integration, sensory regulation, and neuro-motor development
into functional goals (ADLs, school participation, community skills).
Deliver education/coaching to families, staff, and community partners to support autistic individuals.
Lead/assist with
program and service development
and continuous evaluation for OT services.
Attend, contribute, advocate, and inform at
Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Urgent Response Services (URS)
meetings and others, as appropriate.
Share relevant
resources and home programs
with clients/caregivers.
Participate in
team meetings
, clinical rounds, and case conferences.
Other related duties as assigned.

program implementation
and best practices.

per organizational policies and applicable legislation.
