Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist Assistant (OTA/ PTA) - Orangeville & Shelburne




Full-Time Opportunity




As an OTA/PTA at CBI Home Health, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that uses an integrated and collaborative approach to service delivery. CBI Home Health has strengthened the traditional In-Home service delivery model by focusing on a holistic approach to care. As part of the dynamic and self-directed care team, you work together to effectively meet the patient's goals.

This role requires a driver's license and reliable vehicle to travel to clients' homes within the Orangeville or Shelburne area.

What you need to be successful




You possess

a post-secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA)

Valid Driver's License, Vehicle Insurance, and reliable vehicle is required

You have a general knowledge of mobility aids and assistive equipment Your focus is to embrace and support person and family-centered care You are passionate, empathetic, use good judgement and apply critical thinking when making decisions You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently You value the role a therapist plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance
