About the Role
We're looking for an
Occupational Health Nurse
to join our growing team of rehabilitation and disability management professionals. This role is based on-site with one of our clients in the North York Region, Ontario,
fully onsite
.
This is a
full-time (40 hours per week)
maternity leave replacement position.
What You'll Do
Support employees through injury, illness, and return-to-work programs.
Maintain accurate electronic health records.
Lead and participate in wellness and mental health initiatives.
Administer fit-for-duty assessments, medical surveillance programs, and immunizations.
Provide emergency response and first aid as required.
Collaborate with management, physicians, and EHS teams on accommodations and health initiatives.
Contribute to prevention and education programs that promote healthy lifestyles.
What You'll Bring
Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the
College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
3-5 years of nursing experience; 2-5 years in Occupational Health preferred
Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN-C or DOHN) or willingness to obtain
Strong knowledge of disability management and related legislation
Valid CPR and First Aid certification
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Proficiency in
EMR systems
and Microsoft Office applications
