As an Occupational Health Coordinator at Lifemark, you are an important member of our clinical team. You are responsible for assisting with client care as directed by a Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, or other clinician. You will also provide outstanding support to patients, co-workers and stakeholders, in keeping with the Lifemark commitment to patient centered care. As a significant contributor, you are the type of person who will take pride in the thoroughness of your work and the strong relationships you develop with your clients and co-workers..

Are you the right fit?


We're seeking a compassionate Occupational Health Coordinator who leads with empathy and integrity. A great listener, a clear communicator, and someone who seeks to understand what motivates our patients to guide how to personalize a plan of care to meet their needs. Above all, you are driven to grow - both professionally and personally. Key skills and qualifications include:

Perform drug and alcohol testing, and other ancillary testing such as EKGs, Audiograms, Pulmonary Function Testing, etc. (training can be provided) Perform employment physical screens including functional job simulation Ensure that all administrative aspects of testing are complete; including scheduling, sending results, ensuring invoicing occurs, and liaising with customers Provide administrative and clinical assistance to other health examiners and clinicians as required.

Qualifications

Kinesiologist, Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or Paramedic preferred, but applicants with allied health diploma or degree will be considered Experience and certification in Phlebotomy, Drug & Alcohol testing, and other ancillary testing is considered an asset Previous experience working within a clinic setting considered an asset Personal, friendly demeanor with excellent relationship-building skills Ability to exercise good judgement, resourceful, strong organizational skills Able to adapt to change with clinic operations to continuously learn and strive for improved patient care Self-starter with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
