The Saint John, NB area is actively seeking a permanent OBGYN. Serving the greater Saint John area of approximately 120,000 people with an annual birth rate over 1500/year. We are a satellite teaching site for Dalhousie University Obstetrics and Gynecology, Family Medicine and Emergency Residency Programs. As an Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OBGYN) with our organization, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive women\'s health services, including obstetrics, gynecology, and related subspecialties. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of women\'s health issues, performing surgeries, and delivering babies. Your expertise and dedication will help improve the lives of women in our community.

JOB DUTIES:
Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions.
Provide prenatal and postnatal care to pregnant patients.
Perform surgical procedures as needed.
Educate patients about women\'s health issues and preventive care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
HOURS OF WORK:
Hours of work are normally provided between 0830hrs - 1630hrs Monday to Friday, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Service/Department Head.
After-hours and weekend call coverage in coordination with members of the Department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A medical degree is required.
Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or American Board Certification in OBGYN; In circumstances where no qualified Canadian trained applicants are available, equivalent certification may be considered as long as they qualify for licensure in the Province of New Brunswick.
The candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
