Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nutritionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and wellness through nutrition, providing personalized dietary advice, and helping clients achieve their health goals. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for clients to determine their dietary needs and goals. Develop individualized meal plans and provide guidance on nutrition-related issues. Educate clients on healthy eating habits, food choices, and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate records of client progress using electronic medical records systems. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and trends to provide evidence-based recommendations. Facilitate group workshops or seminars on nutrition topics as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field; relevant certifications are preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer operation for documentation purposes. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Contract length: 3-12 months

Pay: $75.00-$200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 40 per week
