Job description



We are looking for a dedicated, reliable, ambitious Nursing Manager to join our growing RX Connect Specialty Pharmacy Team. The Nursing Team Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Nurses, ensuring they have the tools and resources necessary to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:



Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of nurses, including assigning duties, monitoring performance, and providing feedback. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, address concerns, and facilitate communication. Provide ongoing training, education, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff. Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, management, and other healthcare departments. Educate and train patients on medications in the clinics setting(s) Monitor treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by Physician protocols Manage staffing levels, schedules, and workload distribution to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources. Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, and supplies to support patient care activities. Provide patient education based on protocols, individually or in groups Regular, predictable availability to meet appointment scheduling needs in an efficient and cost-effective manner to provide patients with quick access to necessary therapies Sustain relations with key stakeholders, Clients, Physicians and other Health Care Professionals Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs Perform related duties and tasks as required

Experience and Educational Requirements:



Qualified RPN or RN license (valid provincial license from the College of Nurses) Healthcare provider CPR certificate required ACLS certification required Liability insurance required Minimum 3 years experience as a nurse Experience in critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting are considered assets Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook (e-mail), and MS Word Excellent customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and our clients Strong written and verbal communication skills Able to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote team
