Job Description

Two Nice Guys I.D.A Pharmacy has won awards for community service and collaborative care. Nurses are an integral part of our Home Medication Management Program to provide our clients with the outreach, support and care they need. We serve the elderly, chronically-ill, and at-risk populations.

We are looking for a Nurse (RPN/RN or LPN) to be the team lead and coordinate scheduling, govern professional practice and staff development, and liaise with the Pharmacy Manager to meet business objectives.

This position is hybrid-remote. A week on the job will include a mix of the following:

Covering front-line shifts

Scheduling and timekeeping

Development and follow-up of professional standards,

Business development and maintaining collaborative client relationships

On-call for short notice coverage is mandatory. Shifts and on-call are for day time only, there are NO EVENINGS and NO OVERNIGHTS in this role

Salary is negotiable depending on experience, and agreed-upon job description. There is a mileage reimbursement for the use of your personal vehicle, and other benefits which can be discussed at the interview

If you are not comfortable with visiting clients in recovery from substance use disorders at their homes in social/supportive housing please do not apply.

An Ideal Candidate:

Is an RN/RPN or LPN in good standing with the BCCNM Has experience in a supervisory/management role Has experience in home care nursing and/or outreach support work Has a strong work ethic, and comfortable with working independently and as part of a team Has reliable access to own automobile, class 5 Driver's Licence and confident with driving around the city when needed Maintains up to date patient records by documenting all interventions and assessment data and submitting daily reports to the supervising pharmacist Can adapt to a rapidly changing work environment Understands and has a non-judgmental attitude toward behaviours that put individuals at risk Understands of Harm Reduction practices and willingness to practice in a harm reduction environment

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
