Position Overview & Responsibilities



We are excited to announce we have a

12-month contract, full-time position available at our various clinic locations.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring high-quality patient care, smooth daily operations, and team development of the LPN and RN team. They blend clinical expertise with managerial responsibilities to oversee nursing staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and foster a positive working environment amongst all departments.

Responsibilities:



Assist with Clinical Procedures. Collecting and preparing blood products through the process of venipuncture. Observing and recording objective symptoms, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and changes in condition of body. Collecting specimens for laboratory ensuring laboratory and samples are filled out properly. Supports Clerical, Sonographers, MRTs, and Radiologists as needed. May perform or assist with emergency acute care such as vasovagal, anaphylaxis, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Medication Administration



Prepares the appropriate medication doses for various soft tissue and intra-articular injections. Ensures sterility for all medication draws and procedure setups. Maintains daily injection supplies; and ensures all supplies are maintained and stock has not exceeded expiry dates. In accordance with established nursing policies and procedures, administers oral medications and intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections.

Medical Office Administration



Screens daily appointment schedule for appointment accuracy and prepares appropriate patient medications. Ensures any scheduling mistakes are flagged, and the appropriate staff member is notified. Maintains suitable environment for the patient by changing linens, tidying the premises, caring for equipment and ensuring that the room is properly ventilated, heated, and lighted, prepares patient exam rooms and equipment.

Managerial



Scheduling eligible LPN, RN or approved individuals for shifts based on clinical operations. Approve/decline vacation requests for eligible LPN, RN or approved individuals. Quality assurance checks. Conduct and manage the annual performance review process. Promote communication and lead performance reviews to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Performance mentoring and coaching. Onboarding and training new employees. Promote a collaborative work environment by motivating the team and handling any concerns. Monitor and control costs while maintaining high care standards. Collaborate with other departments to streamline workflows and ensure efficient use of resources. Oversee inventory management with Clinic Managers. Identify training needs and coordinate continuing education opportunities for nursing team. Encourage participation in professional development activities and certifications.

Qualifications & Skills:



2 - 5 years of LPN or RN experience. Must have strong leadership skills including ability to foster relationships with your team. while mentoring, motivating, and coaching the team. Proven experience and understanding of LPN, RN roles and general procedure knowledge. Must have reliable transportation to all Pureform and affiliated locations. Exceptional team player with ability to motivate a team.
