Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Nursing Students to join our healthcare team. This position is ideal for individuals currently enrolled in a nursing program who are eager to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. As a Nursing Student, you will assist with patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff while applying your theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Duties

Provide direct patient care, including assistance with daily living activities and personal hygiene. Conduct patient assessments, monitoring vital signs and documenting changes in health status. Assist with catheterization, Foley catheter care, and tube feeding as needed. Support medication administration and ensure adherence to care plans. Perform basic life support and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures. Engage in patient observation to identify any changes in condition and report findings to supervising nurses. Participate in physical examinations and assist with medical terminology documentation. Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop effective patient service strategies.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is essential for understanding patient needs. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation review processes. Experience or coursework related to patient assessment, IV insertion, and vital signs monitoring is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to ethical standards. Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
