Job Description

Applicant must be a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of Ontario, licensed to practice as a nurse through their respective regulatory college. RN/ RPN to work at family home through Family Managed Care Plan with LHIN

Duties:

- Primary point of care for pediatric patient, wheel chair bound G-tube fed acquired brain injury
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient's condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Monitor and record patient's vital signs and medical history

- capable of lifting, transferring and carrying pediatric patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe and clean working environment

Requirements:

Applicant must be at least 18 years old Have own transportation Pass a vulnerable sector criminal records check Must have valid CPR certificate Capable of providing pediatric care; G tube familiarity, medication administration, incontinence care, daily hygiene. physically capable of lifting transferring, and repositioning a busy but curious child.

Part-time hours: 7 per day, 14-35 per week

Salary: $53.23 / hr.
